Green Cat Press

is a small private press located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together with its nature imprint: Green City Press, we design and hand print letterpress broadsides and chapbooks (usually under 100 copies in an edition). We have been working with writers and visual artists since 1985. Many artists or writers produced a drawing or a poem especially for us to use as a letterpress broadside or book. We use the finest materials and create unique artwork for each edition.

We’ve created over 25 broadsides and 5 books. A percentage of our profits go to help Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (a no-kill sanctuary on acres of scenic land in Kanab, Utah).

The prints and books are done on archival paper, primarily Rives BFK, using a Vandercook 219 AB cylinder flatbed press. Screenprints are also available, as indicated.
